Surfing

Hey everyone,

So i got up early this morning and dad took me down for a surf. I was getting my wetty on while dad took off the board from the top of the car when he realised my board wasn't in the car. We loaded the car back up and got half way home when I realised that we had left dad leg rope on the grass. So back again we went and got dad's leg rope and went back home and got my board.Finally when we got back to the beach we got prepared in a record time. The waves were a half metre from the back and a metre from the front. They were amazing. Any way I have from photos for you.

Then I went and watched my sister do dragon boating for our school and I got very burnt.

Okay so I've told you about the academic awards night. Well guess what there is a boy in my class who is super smart, but hard not really sporty. We shall call him Jim for the reason of this story. So Jim got pretty much all A's but a C on his sport mark and because of that he isn't invited to awards nice. But there is a separate sport awards night, so I think he should be invited to the awards night. IT IS JUST SO UNFAIR.  He is the smartest person I know and he isn't going to the awards night!.
Also well done the Liv, because she finally got her invite!

So I went surfing this morning and it was crap. So we went to NSW near Cabarita. It was huge and messy so we only surfed for maybe a half hour to forty-five minutes.

Good Morning

Good Morning everyone,

Well it is on my side of the world when I am writing this.
I am watching the news it says -Air CANADA plane tracks down distressed yachtie-
This man was stuck out in the ocean and the plane found him 3000ft. in the air. ~It wasn't his time to go~

I decided to start this post off with a happy note, because lately we haven't had too much good news which is why I must say:
When you read this can you please give a minute silence in memory of Jill, the news women that was killed recently. She had a very sad end. They used shop cameras to find the man who did it.



Okay, lets get onto the good stuff.

Section on the invitation

On Monday- I know I know really late notice,- I received an invitation to my schools academic awards night. I do not know what for yet, but I can't wait. This is quite a big thing for me, my family and family. This is a night when we a really rewarded academic achievement.

This will be my first awards night and I am very excited.

At the academic awards night I will be playing the violin with several others while people are walking. I may also play in the band, but I'll let you know.


Also yesterday they were handing out awards for the sport night and I didn't get one, which I was really annoyed about. Because a couple of really NON-SPORTY people got them :(.

Next day

Hey everyone,
Wow it is a new day and wow it is hot. It is like over 22 degrees on the Goldy. I love Bella's voice and this is her best and first audition. Skinny Love is awesome song.

Bella is 18 and she dropped out of high school. Good Luck Bella x

So today was just another boring day at school. Nothing interesting happened, so I have no clue why I am writing this post, but I decided to go out and take some photos of my skateboard!

I got this board about a year ago.  This board is designed for surfing practice!


Well, this morning my Dad got me up at 5:00am to go for a surf down  at the beach. So I pulled myself out of bed and we drove down to the beach. As we got closer I was wondering where the waves were seeing I couldn't usually see them over the hill.There were absolutely no waves. My Dad calls it Lake Pacific, because it is like a lake and it is the Pacific ocean :D hehe.I can't believe how bad the surf is at the moment. So small,, or big and dumpy. Oh well I have my skateboard to run to!

My weekend (13/14th Oct)

Hey Adamo here- signing in,
Seeing that I only started my blog yesterday I wasn't able to tell you all my terrific news that happened on the weekend, so I shall do it now!

Saturday
I had surfing training early Saturday morning at 8:00 am. My  surfing coach is awesome and I have improved so much. I do the training with one of my best friends, who now goes to a different high school. Well there was a little bit of trouble with our parents, so I shall skip over that, but the surf was...hm... average, maybe? We were doing tag-teams and I managed to score a 6-7/10, which is really good in the conditions. So that was my exciting news for Saturday.

Sunday
I belong to a girl only board riders clubs and it was competition day. I am in the intermediate competition level. There are girls from a range of 8 years to 40-50 years old who compete in the level of their chose.
In my heat there were two other girls, one younger than me and one maybe the same age, a little older and it was head-to-head. The older girl I took as an equal and marked her as my competition. The surf was small and you had to continuously paddle up and down the bank. The older girl and myself were both trying to get around each other to the inside of this rarely formed wave for that day. I just manage to get infront and her board nose clipped the tail of mine,  and I was away. Pumping up and down this decent sized wave, it felt great. When I was surfing that wave I felt like I could do anything and I could. I won my heat, which meant I went on to the finals!

So the finals were up later that morning and it against and to older women who were maybe in their 20-30s they both looked quite young, and it was the most fun final I have ever been apart of. The girls were friendly and for once supportive of each other. It was great. I was relaxed and surfing the best I possible could. When the final was up I paddled into shore laughing and smiling, it was wonderful. I ran up the sand to the score sheet. I HAD WON! I ran over to my dad and gave him a huge hug, I was so excited, I just couldn't believe it.

So that was my wonderful weekend, and it really was amazing and I had so much fun. I got to see my best friend, surf, each cake and share the day with my dad. My mum and one of my sisters did the 5km fun run and my other older sister was driving them around.

The Story Behind Adamo

Well, the original idea was to make an account and follow my friends, but then I decided, if they have a blog, why not me. So I was talking to my friend Lincoln and asking him blog names and he told me that my name is Marcus in latin. (his word for it! Hehe) Which gave me the idea to search latin meanings. I searched through and found Adamo. Adamo mean ~to fall in love with~. So my nickname on bloggers is Adamo. Also that is why my blog name is Adamo Ellie’s Blog. It means to fall in love with Ellie’s Blog. Thanks Lincoln for the great idea. X
